Dossier “Idra” (2022)

In this new dossier, no one will be surprised to recognize many hands, many minds, and many hearts. The collaborative style, which has always distinguished La Banda’s dossiers, continues to be the hallmark of a shared reflection that spans provinces and regions, intersecting backgrounds and professions, and represents the least common denominator of our work.

Dossier “Lo zampino. Aemilia: the end?” (2019)

96 pages to take stock of mafias in Emilia-Romagna: the first part focuses on Aemilia, in light of the procedural developments and rulings from the Bologna Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. A reasoned review of the trial’s protagonists, categorized between the acquitted (few) and the convicted (many), leaving no one out.

And then the ignoble small stories that unfold daily in our region: updated data on usury, extortion, and confiscated assets, the criminal dynamics plaguing cooperatives and public works, and police operations targeting “hot” sectors like money laundering, international drug trafficking, transport, and gambling.

Dossier “Il cane non ha abbaiato” (2018)

Produced by the associations La Banda, Ad Est, and Gruppo dello Zuccherificio. It starts with the Aemilia maxi-trial: the relationships between crime families, entrepreneurs, politicians, and professionals, as they emerged in court in Reggio Emilia and the Bologna Court of Appeal. It then moves to focus on gambling and confiscated assets, with the most up-to-date data on the situation town by town. Finally, Pandora: the box better left unopened. Because when you open it, you find everything inside: foreign mafias, Cosa Nostra, Camorra, and ‘Ndrangheta, facts and names—some forgotten—that we have collected and presented to you.
